Grant Wood
has lived on the North Oregon Coast for thirty
years, and explores its beaches, creeks and
forests with a keen eye for form and function
and pattern. The result is a vast collection
of artifacts, fossils and natural materials,
many of which he uses to make his own pigments.
He assembles these into collages and findings
that powerfully and quietly evoke the spirit
of the primal Pacific Northwest. He can
be reached by telephone at (503) 368-9456 or
at Call of The Wild Gallery Studio at 63 Gregory
Street, Wheeler, Oregon 97147.
